In Beta 4 we didn't properly support getCTM (or
currentScale/Translate) to support these the viewBox transform was
moved to the outermost CanvasGraphicsNode from the rendering transform
(the rendering transform used to include the viewBox as well as any
pan/zoom you did interactively). This was convenient as you only
needed to deal with one transform to get from screen to viewBox
coords, now you need to combine the viewBox transform with the
rendering transform.

Well in some sense you are correct, but I would have to break
getCTM and other DOM methods to fix the root cause of these new
problems (which is a correct implementation, from a DOM perspective,
of viewBox).
