Converting to EPS / Converting Fonts to Curves

Greetings All,   I'm looking for a package to convert SVG to rasta graphics, and also a package that converts SVG to EPS.  I am very sure that Batik can convert SVG to Rasta (it says on the home page ;)), but not so sure about EPS.  Any suggestions are appreciated.  I did find a previous saying you could convert to EPS ::  "The Batik package includes an SVG-to-PostScript "rasterizer". " but just thought I'd check,,   As an aside, using Corel 10, I have taken a SVG file, with text, and coverted this text to "curves" or "paths" (good for print) it is possible to do such a conversion with Batik?   Any help /comments are **greatly** appreciated ....   Kind Regards, Zitan
