Tonny, Thanks for your response. I am not using any image types like png, jpeg or tiff etc. I am using just raw rgb buffer and the bufferedimage I created is of type ARGB and it is displayed on a Java Canvas component. Hope I make sense. I tried the FORCE_TRANSPARENT_WHITE hint but still doesn't seem to work.

If you are using PNG files, it could be that the viewer does not support alpha correctly, you could use work around in ImageTranscoder Hints FORCE_TRANSPARENT_WHITE hint Regards Tonny Kohar -- Sketsa SVG Graphics Editor http://www.kiyut.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
