strings.

   This line also needs to be:
        fline.setAttributeNS("http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace";,
                           "xml:space", "preserve");

   Once again in DOM you must provide the namespace it
does not to prefix mapping, that is the parsers responsability.
