Hi -
We are using flowText in our SVGs, but we're running into a lot of
instances where the descenders of a font bump into the ascenders on
the next line. Aside from looking silly, it really hurts readability.
I've read all of the posts on line-increment, the back and forth of
textArea vs. flowText, the lack of line-height and all of the other
related materials archived online. The most recent discussions seem
to be many months old, so I'm hoping that something has happened
since that might help us. I've also investigated changes to the font
embedding, but adjustments there seem to affect the whole text block
and not each line, which makes sense when you consider that the font
doesn't know how many lines it's on, just glyph attributes.
Do you know of a way that we can introduce some spacing between our
flowText lines? Whatever the default value, it is too small a number
and results in crummy looking text.
Thanks!
