Yes there is in-band dtmf tone synthesis. It also does inband detect,
as well as info method and 2833 detect. I had started work on
generating info & 2833 packets, but that was not ready for rc1...

I am still looking after Bayonne2 as SIP or H.323 interactive server; I
think you did a lot of work on the SIP driver in Bayonne2.
Is there DTMF tone generation enabled on SIP?
Thank you,
Julien

Subject: [Bayonne-devel] Bayonne 2 1.0 release candidate plans
Last night, actually, I completed formal testing for a Bayonne 2 1.0
release candidate. One of the more interesting last minute additions
that have not been seen in any of the prior Bayonne 2 releases was the
formal implementation of an explicit "forms" model for programming
interactive forms in ccscript.
Mostly I have been trying to decide whether to distribute and introduce
the release candidate tonight, or to do so sometime later in the week.
Given that a lot of work was completed in the last few days, I doubt
anyone else has even had a chance to look at the final rc1 code base
other than myself.
If I do not distribute the release tonight, the next chance I will have
to do so is probably Wednesday.
