Do you mean bbdb-quiet-about-name-mismatches? I don't have any
variable or function bbdb-quiet-about-mismatches on my system --BBDB
version 2.2 ($Date: 2000/10/15 17:07:03 $).

I searched the archive on the discussion for
bbdb-quiet-about-name-mismatches and it seems to do the job for name
mismatches but not on inquiries re: new email addresses. Did I miss
something? I already have:

(setq bbdb-quiet-about-name-mismatches t)
(setq bbdb-silent-running t)
(setq bbdb-use-alternate-names nil)

But the inquiries about new emails are still coming in. Normally,
it's a minor bother. For those who use this feature, though, I
suspect it would be nice to be asked only once for each new email
address per emacs session. As it is, it will ask me the same question
every time I read a post from the same sender, despite my repeated 'n'
answers. This can be annoying when reading an archival mail group.

Thanks for your help,
John Hunter
