This would be nice, but still it would not do what i really want.
BBDB is great for sitting on your mailtool and notice new Addresses
semiautomatically. The resulting Data (always fresh and accurate) can
be used everywhere. But the BBDB isn't available everywhere. OK, i
can M-x dial from within my BBDB. But my incoming Calls (and the
Answering Machine) are on another Machine. Not to mention my Mobile
and my Palm. bbdb-srv even requires Answers ("add this Phone Number
to which record?") typed inside BBDB for Record-Updates which are
coming via gnuserv.
As long as the data is burried deep inside BBDB and Lookups require a
*running* BBDB there will be a pile of scripts, IMHO.
