Thanks, Robert. I just have to point out that the behavior with this
fix is a little different from what used to happen previously. Now,
when I use ':' on a sender who is not in my database, that entry gets
added immediately. Previously it used to prompt, 'XXX not in the
db. Add (y-or-n)?'

As far as I am concerned the new behavior is fine - I just have to get
used to it. After all, I use the ':' key to create new entries.
