Arrgh, exactly. I have already solved this problem. There was a single
"-A" hidden inside my ~/.bbdb. I don't know how it got there (I had a
lot of hard crashes back then), but it didn't show its face again.
Both problems as described above were gone after I removed the -A from
my .bbdb.
