Maybe I need yet *another* cup of coffee, but for the Life of me, I can't figure out the entry ordering used by bbdb-print (in emacs-21.2.1). This function -- bound to "P" -- generates a TeX file which "pretty prints" all or some of the DB entries.
It starts out with a `B' section with persons whose last names begin with 'B', followed by similar sections for `C', `H', etc. ... this is all expected and normal. It continues with `L', `M', `N', 'P', and *then* `M', `K', `N', and so on ... basically bouncing forward and backward through the alphabet. I'm sure it is following its "printing algorithm" ... I just can't figure out what it is! I looked online and in the 'info' pages, but couldn't find an explanation of the ordering. A second mystery: after displaying all records, the created ".tex" file contains only, maybe, 20% of them. Why are these other entries not included in the "pretty printing"? Can anyone explain this to me?
