Inspired by Alex Schroeder's, here's my own, which doesn't rely on a patched xml.el, and which adds recognition of an rdfid property (in hopes of someday adding a foafknows property in order to be able to describe relationships between one's friends, or perhaps an even more ambitious general-purpose mechanism).
