I'm generally reluctant to make fixes to things that are broken by CVS
emacs, since chasing the ins and outs of major releases are trouble
enough without trying to follow the whims that appear and disappear in
CVS. If this change makes it into a release I'll consider changing the
BBDB code to compensate.
