The only thing I'm aware of that ever worked bidirectionally was the SyncBBDB (syncbbdb2.sourceforge.net) module for the pilot-manager (pilotmanager.sourceforge.net) project. I'm sure that is long dormant/dead as is PalmOS, though I continued to use it successfully through a few months ago when my final Palm M100 finally died and I've decided to move on.
