It's a fair comment! I certainly couldn't do it without BBEdit keeping track of them for me. But I've found them more and more useful because they delineate structure so well. Want to delete an entire conditional from the code? It's just a click away.... Perhaps that's why people ask for BBEdit to do code-folding?

Looks OK to me. I'd be interested to see the Perl equivalent for this. Then I will be able to tell you which one my poor old brain finds harder to parse. :-)
