I forget where I first heard it, but somewhere in the not-too-distant past, I learned that in the text areas of most well-behaved Cocoa apps (at least I think it's Cocoa-specific), Cmd-Shift-Opt-V performs a "Paste and Match style." I find that I'm using this all the time now for effectively stripping out formatting. Especially for quick pasting into iChat or Mail. And Peter's `pbpaste | pbcopy` tip is definitely one to tuck away. I'll have to remember that one. (Now, if I could just figure out how to tell bbdiff what encoding to use, I'd be in great shape.) -Charles Euonymic Solutions [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Have a feature request?
