In BBEdit Preferences under Launguages use the Suffix Mappings (lower
box) to specify which language should be used for each file extension. Also,
you can select HTML in Installed Languages (upper box) and click Make Default.
I use this so that I can still use HTML coloring/options even when I have a
chunk of code for temporary use in an unsaved file that has neither html
headers nor any file extension yet.
