Hello, List -
I downloaded TextWranger recently for the purpose of assembly language
programming (8-bit AVR). I know that the special programming features
are designed for 68K assembler, but some features ought to be useful.
Alas, nothing seems to work.
When I select, in Preferences>Language "68K Assembler" and double-click
that, I get a dialog allowing specification of the comment start. The
default appears to be "//".When I save a very simple file with the
".asm" extension, the line
//Hello
Is not colored. But, If I change it to a C file, it is colored. Ditto
String constants delimited by either single quote or double quote at
each end.
Can someone suggest what I am doing wrong?
Finally, it would be nice to have TextWrangler recognize the keywords
and other constructs of the AVR assembler. I've been through
"TextWrangler User Manual, Appendix C as well as "Chapter 13, Using
Plug-Ins", thinking they would tell me how, but they do not, as far as
I can see. Can someone point me to an example?
Many thanks
Jim Wagner
