If folding support can be added via a CLM then I was willing to look into it (at least before joining the rest of my colleagues exclusively embracing Eclipse, no threats intended, BBEdit works the way I do and has for the last 10 years). > I tried making a codeless language module for Java when they first > introduced support for CLMs. It seemed tricky then, because the built- > in C function scanner didn't work properly for Java source files. I looked through SectionD and understand the structure but did not find any explanations for grep or in any of the SDK examples. Before I spend the time/energy I wanted to be sure that CLM would work for Java folding (e.g. confirmation from BBEdit tech) and some idea of the semantics for grep phrases in the plist. > Alternatively, you can always do manual folding, using Balance and > Fold or Fold Selection. I already do this and it works. But I want Java to be a first-class, BBEdit citizen. ;) Steven -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Have a feature request?
