Am I right in assuming, that a language modul can only fold

Codeless Language Modules can only fold functions.
A compiled language module can define auto-fold ranges for whatever
syntax elements it likes.
Thanks Seth and Jim for the clarification.
at least I can stop seraching for a way to do that with a CLM now :-)
Now the only question is: who will be first? Alex coming up with a
compiled language module or BareBones with the next release of BBedit
with improved CLMs :-)
Will I need to wait for a new BBEditSDK or is there already an
updated version (or inofficiell documentation) for the 8.5 version
with infos for foldable sections?
