When I'm performing a Replace all based on a grep or other search and

It may be that a Text Factory would be useful here.
Is there a setting to turn that off and perhaps have it display
on the screen briefly as it does when something is "Not Found"?
If you enter "replace" in the preferences search drawer :-) you
will find the solution.
