I started entering things manually, then decided, against all hope,
to try the vertical select and insert. Vertical selected the inside
of the first few lines of <td></td> in Document #1, selected all in
Document #2, and pasted into Document #1. Amazed to see it worked
infallibly.
Wonderful!
I also just recently found how well that works. BBEdit continues to
be a pleasure to use.
