BBEdit uses the default locale, which is determined by your

I'm not using international variants of sorting all too often, but I
wonder if it would be desirable to to do so: sorting within an html
file uses the locale indicated by the lang property of the element
the list is in, etc. Something similar is probably relevant for spell
checking.
