I am having the same problem as Dean Matthews reported in his post.
Built-in preview is fine until I move the window then BBEdit
crashes (or should that be 'is crashed'?). This is running 8.6.2
(190) on a MBP running 10.4.9 with all the fixings and (of course)
Safari 3.0.
Hopefully the BB folks have enough of a clue by now in the form of
crash logs to address the problem. Given the apparently random nature
of the symptom, one suspects some third-party-software interaction.
Applying Ockham's razor, one might start with the beta version of
WebKit
which accompanies Safari 3.0. :-)
For anyone who's seeing this problem, I recommend uninstalling the
Safari
beta.
That too, but there appears to be a second factor, since I gather
that it works for most of us.
