Hello Someone at one of the comp.sys.mac.* newsgroups pointed this out to me.
If you have this: \foo in a text file and search for it without "Use Grep" checked using the string \foo then it doesn't find it :( The problem seems to be \f the special character for page breaks (form feed). This seems to be the case for me as it is for the one who reported it. I'm using 8.6.2 and the person who mentioned this is using TextWrangler. I'm wondering if I've missed something rather obvious?
