You've got a couple choices. Probably the simplest would be to use the
command line tool:
bbedit /Path/To/MyCoolFile.cp:34

Absolutely. It's silly to reinvent wheels when there are clearly people
out there who know the answer. In return for a DVD that costs me $5
(including shipping), I saved an hour or two of my time.
One might argue that you can get the help for free, but I find that
offering the bribe often gets me a much better, well-thought-out answer,
usually very quickly (would have been 15 minutes if I'd subscribed to
the list in non-digest). I tailor the bribe to the difficulty of the
question, and have in some cases given away entire box sets.

I could be a bit of a dick and say "Too bad" to Rod because his answer
didn't come in as quickly, but I'm feeling in a good mood, because the
new feature in the app has my staff bowing down before me (they are
easily impressed), not to mention it's always good policy to suck up to
the developers of a tool you depend on. So Rod gets a DVD too.
As does the certain BBEdit developer who emailed off-list within an hour
of the posting... ;^)
