Version 9.0 OS X 10.4.11 PB G4 In the course or ordinary edting I get the following intermittent error message intermittently.
"An attempt was made to read or write to a volume which does not exist (MacOS Error code: -35)" I am usually not reading a file or writing to one at the time. No network volumes are mounted and no backup programs are running. Version 9.0 is a treat--mode-less search and the ability to edit files in the Browser window alone make the upgrade a bargain.
