Rather than figure out how to use the Mac's built-in web sharing, you might just download and set up MAMP, a pre-packaged development server that includes standalone Apache, MySQL, and PHP (independent of OS X's included copy of Apache). It's optimized for testing purposes, is relatively easy to set up, and has a few advantages over using Apple's web sharing, which is not really designed for testing purposes. There's a free version as well as a paid version available. The free version works fine for me. You can read more about it at <http://www.mamp.info/en/mamp.html>. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
