They know about it, or at least they know about my similar problem with my MS Mouse, which also won't double-click in BBE 10.5. (Also, I can't single-click into the Live Search field. Can you do that?) I gave the devs feedback about this during the 10.5 beta phase. They replied...
"We've made some extensive but necessary architectural changes in BBEdit 10.5, and these changes have exposed a bug in the mouse drivers that fortunately didn't affect prior versions of BBEdit. "The catch is that because we *must* make these architectural changes, there is correspondingly no way to avoid the bug, as the mechanics involved with event handling don't allow it." They also tested a Logitech mouse with the same results. I'm therefore remaining at 10.1.2 until some sort of fix is available, wherever that fix comes from.
