Hi, When I launch BBEdit 10.5.3 I can hear a fair amount of audible activity on my drive. I have a few, but am assuming it's the system drive. I normally wouldn't think too much on this, except it keeps going for a fair amount of time. Using Activity Monitor, I monitored the drive during launch and it was very active, without a single open file. I let it go for about four minutes or so before quitting. BBEdit is the only program on my machine that does this (that I'm aware of). I was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar?
I'm on a Mac Pro, 2.66 GHz Quad-Core, if that helps. I recently 'upgraded' to 10.8 from 10.6, but this same business was happening in the old OS.
