I can. :-)  If I were using this command to get the content out of an old 
page of HTML to repurpose it, it's extremely likely I wouldn't want the 
links. But that's just me, and my workflow. It's easy enough to get rid of 
the links after this command does its thing.

Western (Mac OS Roman), which is a setting I can't recall ever changing, so 
it's probably the default from a long way back. (I've used BBE since 
dinosaurs roamed the Earth.)
