Good afternoon,

In regards to your question about packages... Knowledge of Node.js is *not* necessary. I encourage you to check out chapter 15 of the BBEdit manual that talks about packages. You can create packages (collections of scripts, text filters, clippings, etc...) in a variety of ways: AppleScript, Bash scripts, Perl, etc... and yes, Node.

I meant the packages needed by bbpackage, to be able to `bbpackage install <new_package>`. Which docs should I read to create <new_package>?

Or am I missing something? How do I "package up" an existing BBEdit package so it can be installed via `bbpackage`?

And for sake of list archives, I got bbpackage installed just fine after I upgraded my Node.js install.

Thanks,
Charlie
