When I first read through this, I thought you were saying that a CSS file 
that previously was OK was somehow being read as not OK, with the new 
version of BBEdit being the only difference. After tinkering with the CSS 
tools, I think I now have a better understanding.

Ollie's suggestions are a good place to start. Failing that, you can 
experiment with a very simple, known valid CSS file to see if you still see 
this issue. My guess is that you will not.

Once you determine whether the issue is with BBEdit or with your CSS, you 
can proceed with troubleshooting.

FWIW, I could get neither StyleLint nor CSSLint to give me reliable 
results, and BBEdit has never let me down -- although the functions of the 
CSS tools in BBEdit are different from those in StyleLint and CSSLint (and 
CSSComb, etc.).
