BBEdit is a Mac application, and so you can have multiple windows open; and closing a single window does not automatically quit the application. So if you have a window with multiple documents in it, and you click the red close button, you're telling the application that you want to close all of the documents in that window. > I would like to either: 1) change the behavior of BBedit so that closing it > using the Red button doesn't cause it to remove all files from the > currently open files list, or 2) figure out where in the BBedit > configuration data the list of currently open files are listed, so I can > save the list. You can use "Save as Project", which will create a BBEdit project document containing all of the files currently open in the window. R. -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
