Hi, I have a general question regarding byte code manipulation. I hope someone can shed some light on this. If I use byte code manipulation to instrument a class.. would I be violating Wily Tech's patent? Wily Tech (the makers of Introscope) has a patent (Patent number 6,260,187) which seems to cover pretty much the entire scope of byte code engineering. Does byte code engineering violate this patent?
