If you are interested in self-paced / asynchronous BCI technology, we would
appreciate your comments/critique of a draft tech report entitled

Evaluating the Performance of Self-Paced Brain Computer Interface Technology

posted on www.bci-info.org under Research Info | Documents | Articles.

This report is the product of a small, closed discussion group of
researchers representing laboratories that have been actively working with
self-paced (asynchronous) BCI technology. The project was initiated at an
informal gathering at the 3rd International Brain Computer Interface
Meeting, Rensselaerville, NY, USA in June 2005 where we assembled to discuss
the evaluation of self-paced BCIs. Given the diversity in perspectives and
terminology that we encountered within our small group (during and after
that meeting), we chose to limit the participation in the discussion aiming
to first reach agreement on the most basic terms, concepts and metrics
before we approach the rest of the community for their input. We have
reached that point and have summarized our discussion in the posted
technical report. Now we look to clarify and extend this material with your
input.

Please post your comments in this newsgroup so we can include as many people
in the discussion as possible.

Thank you,

S. Mason, J. Kornegg, J. Huggins, M. Fatourechi and A. Schloegl
