Just to confirm again: It's now 2 days that I use Larry's and Michael's bcm43xx /softmac patch and it works very well for a 4318 card against kernel 2.6.18 (which was NOT the case before). I have an Acer Ferrari 4005 and even suspend two ram works (OK, I have to use irqpoll, apci_irq_balance, noapic and bcm43xx on hibernate blacklist, but who cares...)
Congrats to all of you. I really like it! I close the lid... the laptop suspends;I open the lid... the screen comes back and network reconnects like it should!!! Great work, really...
