Softmac is racing against your AP.
Softmac is known broken. Please try with devicescape 802.11 stack.

I don't know what happens at the time it resets the device. But
that is not the first bug that triggers. First it heavily races in softmac.

Try d80211. I really bet it will fix all your problems.
