Synopsis:
With "everything" tree and b43, loses AP association but then reassociates, usually on ARP request.

I realize there's a tcpdump in there and that doesn't really provide any useful info... the key is the iwevent and generating traffic.

Duplicating:
1. Use a 4311
2. Load b43 (autoloads on this kernel - Linux egdell.wetwork.net 2.6.23-rc3 #1 SMP Tue Aug 14 14:00:46 MST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
3. iwevent &
4. Ping a nonexistent local address (EG if your local network is 192.168.1.1-254 just ping 192.168.1.X where X doesn't exist or isn't in the ARP table.)

Removing hardware and other factors:
1. I removed the other Buffalo Airstation 54G so that only one would be possibly in range with which to associate 2. After taking this log, I replaced the b43 driver with the bcmwl5.sys for testing purposes (yeah). No such errors resulted.

One more thing:
In removing the W driver, I got MANY MORE association/deassociations than should be necessary. That log is included LAST.

Contents:
1. This summary
2. Following five octothorpes the first summary
3. Following five octothorpes, the "removal of the W driver, the insertion of B43 driver, and way too many assoc/deassocs."

Ehud
PS Michael, if you think my tree is unclean, kindly let me know which one you want me to build from scratch and I will. Right now I'm using the "everything" git tree.
