The F7 kernel should currently use bcm43xx-mac80211 by default. If you fetch http://david.woodhou.se/bcm43xx-override and put it in /etc/modprobe.d then you'll use the softmac bcm43xx driver instead. That might be worth a try if you have problems with the mac80211 version.
