==================================

Don't know if this will help but it might. I am using a HP Pavillion
dv9210 with AMD dual processor 64bit and 2G memory. It contains a
Broadcom Corporation BCM94311 MCG wlan mini-pci card which states it is
rev 01. It worked well with feisty and works well on gutsy EXCEPT on my
7mb DSL the maximum speed I can get is 118 kbs with gutsy, while it
provided 6 mbs with feisty.

I have been following this thread with interest and have just downloaded
broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0, used bcm43xx-fwcutter to extract and install the
firmware which produced no error messages. I rebooted and ran another
internet download speed test but am still stuck at 118 kbs.
The kernel is: "2.6.22-12-generic #1 SMP Sat Sep 22 18:14:28 GMT 2007
i686 GNU/Linux".

Hope this is helpful...
