I've just started the process of remote testing to see what we can do with the 
rev 0D 802.11 cores.
As this one will have a PHY revision newer than anything studied by the reverse 
engineers, my
efforts may not come to anything, but there are now enough of these BCM4311/2 
units that we need to
check. If I get a patch that lets this adapter even limp, I'll publish it here.

I'll let Michael worry about the ssb warning.
