Dear Friends on Bdnow, I feel I must dissent here from Richard's analysis regarding faith. He is confusing faith for belief. It is belief's that must be revised in order for there to be any kind of change. Faith is not "Believing what you know isn 't true" as Richard says. Ignorance is believing what you know isn't true, because it's either easier, more convenient, or less painful to hold to old belief patterns.
Old beliefs can cause illness individually and as well for societies. Old beliefs which do not serve Life become embedded in bodies and in culture taking the form of collective amnesia. What is it that we have forgotten? Our connection to Divinity. I am not talking about a church or particular religion, but to our Star selves. We are beings of Light. Those of you who say bs, I say you too have forgotten your divinity. It is very likely that many of us have excellent reasons to have lost our faith in the Divine nature of the world and Life. However, having said that, I would urge you all in that boat, to put on a life preserver of some kind: either to meditate, pray, do lots of stirring of bd preps, get therapies, do tai chi or do something so that you can reconnect with what is your true birthright, and that has nothing to do with money, culture, institutions, so called free markets, but has to do with our Divine nature. We are in a great time of change. The economies of wealth for the few and crap for the many are coming to a head ....heading for change that is. Allan, I am sorry to hear of your father-in-law's suffering and that of your family. I wish you much Love in your life and your family. Now is the time for us all to change our old outmoded beliefs in order to serve the highest good and find your faith! With Love and Light, Jane
