Yes that is in reference the the flower, which forms the fruit.  The leaves 
of the plant are held out to capture the cosmic forces of the Sun and convert 
that energy to the nutrients required to  reproduce.  The flower is that 
vehicle, the gift of beauty from the plant back to the cosmos.  Some only 
produce seed but some produce fruit too.  But the flower is the seduction 
that enslaves men to to cultivate the plant and make it thrive some above 
others.  The homeopathic dose of formic acid most likely triggers the 
formation of healthy robust seed and therefore fruit.  Ah, if only we had all 
the answers.  
If we could see and understand all of these inward processes, these things 
hidden from our direct perception , how easy would life be...SStorch
