Hi, Thanks for all this interesting information. It's been many years that I spoke with my relation, and thinking about it I am remembering that he also said that the nettles grew on the bad parts of teh poperty and when the soil was in balance the nettles tended to disappear. They would not have had sheep and sheep manure, but only used cattle manure on theitr farm.
