I have mixed feelings, Lloyd. On the one hand, I strongly feel that grassroots consciousness-raising is the only way to bring about change, especially in today's restrictive climate. I also don't support groups becoming elitist - not sharing their knowledge and feeling smug, different, and superior. The increase in widespread fear is handily shutting down what little communication exists - I think we need to expand communication, rather than go underground with it. What's the big deal if the archives are accessible? Isn't that good?

That's how I mostly feel.

On the other hand, sometimes I do get a little nervous.

Best,
Essie
