Hi!! yes can you do that!! First make your columns in datagrid as template columns. 
Then right click on the datagrid and select EditTemplate - then the column which you 
want to make it readonly.  The datagrid will change and now you can modify properties 
of the textbox in the edit template. make its property as readonly and you are done :) 
  Now when you edit the datagrid, that column will be readonly. And if you want that 
textbox should appear, then you can put a lable or something else in the Edit Template
