    Hi ,     You can do like this ,   Create a form  Object at General Declaration 
section of the MDI form. And create a new Form object and show it as a MDI child . 
Before showing the form close the form Object if it is Not nothing.     Dim frm As 
Form     in the menu click Event     if Not frm is Nothing then frm.Close()   frm=new 
Form1()   frm.MdiParent=Me   frm.show   That's all , it will maintain only one form 
instance for that MDI application   Regards Govind.
