Could not get the context, when u say " am not able to see Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll". wat u need to do is Download and Run the Controls Setup from MS Site(There is a automatic and a manual version. Use the automatic version) Open VS.Net and open a ASPX Page Right Click ToolBox, Choose Customize ToolBox In the .Net Framework Components tab, Choose Browse button, Navigate to the directory in which the controls are installed(default is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Internet Explorer WebControls\Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll) and choose the dll The moment u do this, u will see the items (ToolBar, MultiPage, TreeView, Tabstrip etc...)in the Components list highlighted Select the items tht u need and you will find those items added to the toolbox.
