Hi Balaji,
Why dont you try it from righthandside string manipulation.
Or=20
you can try looking for lastIndexOf(".")....
If you are posting the file, then you can get the content type.
Hope this helps.

Dear All,
I want to get the extension of the filename=20
Dim FileExt =3D "C:\DeskTop\Folder1\Folder2\File.XLS"
So i used the following code
Dim intIndex =3D txtFileName.FileName.IndexOf(".")
Dim txtFName =3D txtFileName.FileName.Substring(intIndex)
Response.Write txtFName
This prints .XSL,this is what i need.
But when=20
Dim FileExt =3D "C:\Desk.Top\Folder1\Folder2\File.XLS
Note : Desk (dot) Top
Then the Result is : .Top\Folder1\Folder2\File.XLS
So how can i do it.............
Thanks
Balaji
